Im here to post a journal of my current job search, as well as to connect with others who are in the same frustrating rut that about 10% of our country is in.
Its complete and utter crap. I am getting rejected from Entry Level positions that require nothing more than a high school diploma. I understand that there are other highly qualified people applying for these positions, but here is what pisses me off. The form rejection letters and emails that come telling me that I do not meet their minimum qualifications...what? Did you even read my resume?
Anyhow, here I am, working on trying to improve my life. I currently do a bit of work from home, but am trying daily to get into a more solid career since getting laid off in October. Who else is out there?
Unemployed as well trying to go through the community college system. Its rough out there, I came from a graphic design job home to where I couldn't even get a job at KFC. They said I was too qualified and not enough experience to work at KFC. I was speechless haha
